Description
Napa Memorial Stadium, a 6,400-seat football-soccer facility on Menlo Avenue that is shared by Napa and Vintage High Schools, has received national recognition.
The Napa Valley Unified School District’s Board of Education was presented with two awards by Chris Chisam with Beals Alliance. The awards are from the American Sports Builders Association.
One award is for recognition as one of the six best single-field high school facilities across the country for excellence in design and construction. The second award is for the green features designed and built into the stadium, such as storage and reuse of rain water, waterless urinals, drought resistant landscaping, and hot water features.
Beals Alliance designed the field, stadium, parking and landscaping. Quattrocchi Kwok Architects from Santa Rosa was responsible for the building structures and main entrance walls.
