Description
This field can be used for football, soccer, lacrosse, rugby, and more. It has a scoreboard, bleachers, snack shacks, and locker rooms. The field also has a track around it for track and field practices or meets.
Synthetic Field Rules and Regulations
Use and Care:
Complex closed between dusk and dawn.
Organized sports activities by permit only, contact facilities scheduling at 253-3549.
Players using cleats must use transfer mat or carpet to cross track. O
Rotate repetitive training drills and activities around the field to insure optimum performance and turf life.
Surface grooming will be provided by M&O as needed.
Prohibitied Activities on Synthetic Track and Field:
Food including gum, sunflower seeds or drinks (water OK).
Smoking (Including BBQ's and Fireworks).
Metal cleats - Molded plastic cleats are ACCEPTABLE on field (2 INCH MAXIMUM)
Driving stakes into turf or track.
Chairs or bleachers on track.
Vehicles on track or field, EXCEPT: Limited use of electric carts and/or wagons with pneumatic rubber turf tires.
Archery, javelins, or nonrubber tipped darts.
Golf or cricket
Bicycles or skates or ANY remote controlled hobby vehicle or airplane.
Notes
Mud and dirt from spiked shoes can be a major source of soiling and staining of the track and field surface. Players need to clean his/her footwear prior to entering the field.
Public joggers and walkers use three (3) outside lanes (4-6) of track.
Spills, stains, or blood, etc. can be washed off with a hose and quick couplers.
Keep fields from: glass, cigarettes, fireworks, and all sharp objects, including: chair legs, table legs, stakes or any sharp object.
All school grounds are non-smoking areas.
