Description

The Lafon Performing Arts Center is a world class, multi-purpose facility, designed to serve students, staff and the community at large. This state-of-the-art auditorium features lighting, stage, backstage, A/V equipment, and audience seating. This is an excellent space for performances and rehearsals, as well as corporate events and seminars.

Equipment & Events

Packages can be added to the Theatre and Black Box venue rentals

All equipment and personnel subject to availability and final request

If the rental event’s needs exceed the inventory, additional equipment will be rented and charged to the client:

Unavailable gear, Lafon Center will handle the procurement of the equipment

Outside contracted gear, the Licensee would handle the procurement of the equipment.

Front of House and Ticketing

All ticketing must be managed by the Dr. Rodney R. Lafon Performing Arts Center.

Price is per performance or event.
The rates include:
Guest Experience Coordinator- Prepares tickets, seating, responsible for ushers
Front of House Staff- ushers and ticket office
Ticket printing fees
Seating chart customization
Concession stand operators (no outside food/beverage sales are allowed)

Merchandise:
No merchandise can be sold that is currently sold by the Lafon Arts Center.
Lafon Arts Center will collect a 20% fee on all merchandise sold by organization.

Conditions

AFTER THE FIRST 10 HOURS: $255 per hour (Non-profit rate) $375 per hour (Commercial rate)

Theater Tech #1 for Theater Rentals (includes all of the following: facility attendant, tech coordinator, light op, sound op, rigging op and stage hand) - $200 per hour
