About this facility
Description
Cafeteria is equipped with a stage, stage lights, rollaway tables, and a whiteboard. This space is perfect for large meetings, performances, classes, seminars, and many more activities. The kitchen/serving area can also be added at an extra cost.
FCPS Food Service is a federally funded program and regulations require kitchen staff to operate and or govern everything within the kitchen. This excludes the cafeteria seating areas.
Kitchen usage includes, ovens, warmer, coolers, walk in fridges, freezers, ice machines, milk boxes and prep areas, storage as well as the serving lines and any and all equipment.
Anytime that kitchen usage is needed, a food service worker is also required the entire time of usage. Usage should include prep and clean up time. i.e to heat ovens, set up the serving line, clean serving lines and used areas, wash dishes and put them away and remove garbage afterward.
Should storage be the issue, a food service worker can open the area for storage and then lock up and then return when the items will be retrieved for the event. The food service worker will stay with the kitchen until the items are removed from the area.
i.e. Soda for an event needs stored in the walk in. The food service worker will open the area to put the sodas in and then lock up. Then the food service worker will return for the sodas to be removed for event staff. If the sodas will be brought out as needed for the event, the food service worker will need to stay until the kitchen equipment is no longer needed and they can lock up. The renter will be billed for the time the worker is required to be there.
